The Scouts spend the evening on the Common taking part in a blind trail. Taking part in the blind trail shows their trust in what challenges they are set and conquering challenges that are difficult.
The Scout's bring their dads along and they take part in a number of challenges just to prove who is the better at the challenges that they are set. Usually despite their age the parents usually have the upper hand.
The Scouts take part in a day hike during March. Although the day was cold and featured some snow everyone had a great time on the edge of the North Downs finishing at Bentley Copse Camp Site just outside Shere. Some of the Scouts were invested during the hike.
All the sections enjoyed a reptile night in January 2007 run by "Reptile Celebrities". Most of the members and their leaders got the chance to stroke the lizards and snakes that were brought down. Some were even lucky enough to get a kiss from one of the lizards. The scout leaders managed to take contol of the snakes as you can see from the photos below.
